Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as the Resident Engineer with responsibilities of planning, directing and supervising activities related to contract administration of construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities Ensure timely and satisfactory accomplishment of contracts, including modifications to original contracts. As appointed Administrative Contracting Officer, direct work changes and award, agree and execute change orders. Direct and coordinate office and field engineering and inspection activities to ensure quality of work and protect the best interest of the government.
