You will serve as the Director for Energetics in the Weapons and Energetics Department of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD).

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will provide overall technical leadership for the quality and execution of NAWCWD’s energetics related work to deliver state-of-the-art weapon system solutions to the Warfighter.
  • You will serve as a recognized technical expert and advisor for a broad spectrum of energetics-related capabilities including research and technology, development, integration, testing, and in-service engineering.
  • You will establish the future direction of energetics in weapons systems.
  • You will define relevant problems, determine the applicable solution techniques, and express the solution in terms that permit its application to specific weapon systems design and research problems.
