Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Financial Management & System Division (FM&S). The primary purpose of this position is to develop and manage policies, plans and programs governing the Department's financial management operations and implements strategic plans to monitor the effectiveness of the programs and to ensure legal and regulatory requirements are met. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Accountant (Staff), GS-0510-15, your typical work assignments may include: Develops audit systems and monitors accounting internal control programs to identify problem areas and to develop solutions to improve program effectiveness.
