Job Description
Supervisor, Underground Mine (MEL01615)
Reporting to the General Supervisor, Mine, you will be part of the Mine Department and coordinate the team to ensure production targets are met while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all practices and procedures are performed with respect to defined regulations.
- Ensure the health and safety of the mining team by verifying that safety audits are performed and accidents/incidents are reported and investigated.
- Ensure mining employees have received proper training and accreditation for their jobs and equipment they operate.
- Promote Agnico Eagle’s environmental and sustainability policies and meet all federal and provincial legislative requirements.
- Prepare the shift’s lineup to maximize resources and achieve optimal performance safely.
