Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor, Microbiology, North Hub is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and providing leadership for all people-management activities within their assigned areas. Reporting to the Manager, Microbiology, North Hub, the Supervisor supports the development and implementation of project plans, operational initiatives, and approved process improvements. This position oversees the Edmonton Base Lab microbiology department, including bacteriology, parasitology, mycology, and molecular diagnostics. The Clinical Supervisor supports the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of Alberta Public Laboratories (APL) and fosters strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including leaders within APL, Alberta Health Services, Covenant Health, and Alberta Health.
