Superintendent – PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc., Richmond, British Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project manager to ensure implementation of PCL’s safety program, including integrating the safety program into all site plans and procedures and adhering to all safety and record‑keeping requirements.
• Supervise, direct, coach, train, and mentor the project team, including direct and indirect reports.
• Effectively communicate with own forces and trades and ensure that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Collaborate consistently with the construction/project manager and project team. Proactively manage potential problems, work interferences, and schedule conflicts or setbacks.
• Act as liaison between field engineers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.
