Job Description

Cape Preston Port Company (CPPC) is seeking experienced Superintendent – Marine Operations to join our Port & Marine Operations team on 22 days on 20 days off FIFO roster from Perth.

Reporting to the Manager – Operations, the role is responsible for ensuring that all vessels operate in compliance with the company’s Safety Management System and the respective marine regulations. This role is also responsible for ensuring each vessel and crew meet the operational requirements of the Port.


 Key responsibilities

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, MLC, ISPS, ISM Code, Flag/Port State Marine Orders, NSCV, Classification Society rules and regulations, HSE policies and procedures for the marine assets

  • Foster implementation of the CPPC Safety Management System for all marine assets

  • Advise and mentor the CPPC team on compliance in the marine regulatory environment and CPPC Safety Management System to ensure eff...
