Job Description
Jobscope:
1. Maintain and troubleshoot signaling systems
- AVP / AVO - Automated vehicle protection and operation systems that control train movements.
- CBI (Computer-Based Interlocking) - Safety-critical system that prevents conflicting train routes and collisions.
- VD / AVS - Systems that monitor train positions, vehicle status, and operations.
- Wayside Equipment - Trackside devices such as sensors and signaling equipment.
- PDGC, SLC, Station Device Boxes - Field equipment that interfaces with trains and control systems.
- Communication Networks & Data Logging Systems - Networks that allow signaling equipment to communicate and record operational data.
2. Preventive maintenance
- Perform scheduled inspections.
- Review maintenance procedures.
