Job Description
Job Overview
Responsible for maintenance and repair of Blowout Preventer (BOP) stack, control and support systems, hydraulic and mechanical components and component interface/support systems. Monitor all rig subsea systems operation and direct troubleshooting and repairs as necessary for operations. Implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements. Work closely with Section Leaders to ensure subsea systems meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Recognized Marine/Engineering qualification from Maritime college.
- 5+ years of related experience and training in hydraulics and fluid system maintenance and repair; superior knowledge of BOPs and control systems and associated procedures; riser tensioners and CMC functions; wellhead equipment and running tools.
- Valid IWCF Well Control Surface and Subsea, Level 4 certificate and BOSIET CA‑EBS.
- 5+ years of experience working with IFS.
