Job Description

Reporting to the Environmental Service Manager, the Student will carry out minor environmental tasks, which are within their knowledge and skill, under the direction of their supervisor while adhering to regulatory and Extendicare's standards, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Adheres to established facility policies and procedures, including safety rules and safe working practices;
• Work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults (residents);
• Uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Extendicare’s Code of Conduct;
• Complete other duties as assigned;
• Maintains exterior grounds except those services performed under service contract;
