Job Title: Student Support Assistant

Employment Type: Permanent, Term Time only (39 weeks a year)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Scale and Salary: Scale 5, points 13-17, £29,064 – £31,022 (actual salary £25,279.10 – £26,982.12)

Start Date: 1 September 2026

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Student Support Team to support students, staff, and parents in resolving issues around behaviour, attendance, and welfare.
• Take a lead role on the team’s work with students whose behaviour is a significant obstacle to their success.
• Act as a key worker for vulnerable students, providing ongoing support and monitoring.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Full enhanced DBS check, including online searches, will be undertaken.
