Job Description

Requirements


  • Diploma or certification in Structural Steel Detailing, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Tekla Structures, or similar detailing software.

  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, welding symbols, connection types, and erection sequencing.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.

  • Experience with estimating or willingness to learn quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of CISC standards, building codes, and industry best practices is an asset.
