Job Description
Hatch is seeking a dynamic Structural Engineering Trainee to join the Engineering Delivery, Structural group, providing engineering services to large and small projects. The role is responsible for the analysis and design of structures for hydropower, dam, and heavy industrial settings. Reporting to the Structural Discipline Lead Engineer, you will support projects globally while working from the Niagara Falls office.
Key Responsibilities
Work independently engineering principles to perform calculations for structural analysis and design of industrial building and equipment support structures and foundations
Work collaboratively to share the results of your work with senior members of the discipline and/or other Hatch groups
Prepare calculation reports and engineering documents to be used by internal and external stakeholders
Become knowledgeable of structural analytical software and tools, building codes and material design codes, disciplin...
