Structural Engineer – Mining Projects
Location: Niagara Falls, ON, Canada
The Structural Engineer will be part of an engineering team providing services to large and small mining projects, including underground mining areas. The role involves design, analysis and documentation for concrete foundations and structural steel, with a focus on safety, integrity and compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering Manager/Lead Structural Engineer with the delivery of project requirements relating to scope, cost and schedule.
- Ensure implementation of safety and integrity principles in all structural documentation.
- Promote compliance with relevant engineering standards and internal procedures.
- Maintain structural engineering work procedures, specifications and CAD programs.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets and reports.
