Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a structural drafter to join one of our long-standing clients in the engineering consulting space. The successful applicant will come with more than 2–3 years of solid experience, but they are open to any level of experience past the 2-year mark (the more the better). Candidates should come from an engineering consulting background with strong experience working with wood/timber, steel, and concrete.
Day to Day
- Structural Drafting & Modeling: Focus primarily on 2D drafting utilizing AutoCAD (comprising roughly 70–75% of workflows) along with 3D structural modeling in Revit (comprising roughly 25–30% of workflows) to translate engineers' design concepts into detailed construction documentation.
