ResponsibilitiesMust be able to provide innovative packaging solutions in a timely manner.Lead efforts to ensure the production facility can efficiently produce new designs while acting as packaging subject matter expert for the team.Develop structural design solutions for paper-based packaging (folding carton, corrugated, rigid box).
Experience with non-paper packaging materials a plus.Manage design projects and maintain effective communication with sales, customer service, and manufacturing.Occasionally (10%) engage directly with client, along with sales business development, as subject matter expert, to obtain project related information.Ensure new designs are created for optimum efficiency for production.Create high-end, flawless packaging prototypes for customer presentations.Create organized, clear, and consistent specifications, dielines, and BOMs.Ensure all designs meet customer testing standards.Follow direction of the management team to ensure proper design protocols a...
