**Description:**
You will be the Structural Analyst for the F-35 Program Stress Analysis Team which is responsible for delivering precise structural assessments for the F‑35 aircraft.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Structural Analyst you will be responsible for performing stress analysis on new and revised subsystem designs, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Work directly with designers to convey requirements and verify compliant products.
+ Employ fundamental and complex engineering analysis to size parts for the severe environment of a fifth‑generation fighter jet.
+ Utilize cutting‑edge analytical tools including HyperMesh, Nastran, Patran, Abaqus, Mathcad, and proprietary Lockheed Martin tools.
+ Apply knowledge of engineering mechanics—statics, dynamics, and strength of materials—in all evaluations.
