• Determine the flight test program necessary for aircraft certification approval.
• Act as a test‑pilot flight crew member to conduct flight tests for certification and audit manufacturers’ production standards.
• Develop new regulations and advisory material for flight test techniques required for new aircraft, systems, or features lacking existing material.
