Job Description
Position Overview:
The Store Controller will report to the IMP Aerospace and Defence location near the Halifax International Airport.
Responsibilities:
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation and verify and trace incoming and outgoing parts, supplies and material.
- Packages items for outgoing shipments and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Receive, sort and issue/route incoming parts and supplies.
- Pick and prepare transfers to Main Operating Bases (MOB) as well as internal production teams.
- Process incoming requisitions and distribute parts/supplies.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Counts stock, completes stocktaking investigations for evaluation and reviews and recommends stock adjustments, stock levels for approval.
