Job Summary
The Stores Receiver is responsible for receiving all goods delivered to the hotel, checking them against purchase orders and delivery documents, verifying quality and quantity, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper storage in line with hotel standards. The role helps maintain inventory accuracy, food safety, and smooth coordination between the Purchase, Stores, and user departments. FIFO and FEFO stock rotation are commonly used in receiving and inventory handling to reduce waste and keep stock organized.
