Summary About the Position: Serve as a Storage Specialist managing storage, layout, and space optimization of ammunition using data systems to ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities This is a developmental position being filled at the GS-07 Target 09 Level. At the developmental levels, you will perform assignments under closer than normal supervision. Full performance GS-09 level of this position entails the following duties: Review planographs, capacities, and explosive limits to ensure safe, policy-compliant storage of Class V ammunition and missiles. Assess magazine inspection reports to resolve routine incompatible storage or quantity-distance violations. Assist and support executing of re-warehousing and relocation projects to consolidate ammunition lots, maximize facility space, and update storage drawings.
