Job Description
Elevate iron ore logistics at Baffinland as a Stockpiling and Shiploading Superintendent. Ensure safe operations and meet shipment goals during peak season at Milne Port.
Reporting to the Manager of Crushing and Transportation, you'll oversee all aspects of stockpiling and shiploading operations. This includes managing equipment maintenance and crew performance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and achieving budgeted shipping targets. Ideal candidates are experienced leaders well-versed in the complexities of mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with operating plans and quality shipments
• Lead maintenance efforts for operational equipment
• Report and investigate incidents per policy
• Manage vendor relationships and services
• Support the development of annual budget and operational plans
