Position Overview: The Statistician works within our quality department to apply statistical methods to real-world manufacturing and quality assurance. Location: On-site in Lynchburg, Virginia
Your Day to Day as a Statistician:
Perform statistical evaluations of quality assurance data using exploratory data analysis, regression, mixed models' analysis, and statistical process control techniques within a manufacturing environment.
Perform and evaluate statistical analysis to comply with contract requirements.
Document statistical justifications for requirement acceptance and/or violations to support technical acceptance documents and manufacturing component release activities.
Qualify measurement and inspection systems using statistical evaluations including gage R&R studies and process capability studies.
Develop programs in the SAS language which will allow users to perform the required statistical analyses on the pr...
