Staff Engineer, Process DesignThe Process Design Engineer in the Technical team will provide technical expertise to enable optimum process design in support of the capital project program that will meet the company’s safety, environmental and economic objectives. Provide process engineering and design support for the refinery including capital/expense projects, special troubleshooting, operating problem mitigation and equipment/system design reviews. This position reports to the Process Engineering Manager.Perform process and equipment design engineering calculations. Prepare process design packages including equipment spec sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, etc Solve engineering problems using appropriate theoretical and practical engineering principles.Define the engineering problem to be solved and analyze the relevant data.Identify alternate solutions based on feasibility, technology and economic assessments.Develop the solution that b...
