Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant or entry-level Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This individual will support day-to-day accounting operations, with a focus on bank reconciliations, maintaining accounting schedules, assisting with accounts payable (AP) and payroll processing, and supporting monthly and annual close processes. Prior experience in healthcare is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting & Month-End Close
- Prepare and complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting schedules (e.g., prepaids, fixed assets, accruals)
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger
- Reconcile intercompany accounts (potentially, not sure on this yet)
