Looking to identify experienced Staff Accountant for an immediate opening. This is an onsite position (5 days per week) in South Los Angeles and is available on either a direct hire or contract-to-hire basis.
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience.
We're seeking an accounting professional with nonprofit, grant accounting, or government funding experience who enjoys working in a mission-driven environment and has a strong understanding of fund accounting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries.
+ Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
+ Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and grant funding.
+ Track grant expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
