Job Description
The Process Engineer will develop process design basis and philosophies, perform simulations, and ensure process integrity for oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, and utility projects. The role involves coordinating with engineering teams, evaluating vendor packages, performing calculations, and supporting FEED and detailed engineering stages. Key Responsibilities: Develop process design basis and design philosophies based on project scope. Review and perform process simulations; guide junior engineers to develop heat and mass balances. Develop PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, CEDs, and Safety charts. Perform routine process calculations (hydraulics, sizing) using process software (HYSYS, Flarenet) and in-house spreadsheets. Design and review process control configurations, ESD systems, and equipment such as separators, pumps, compressors, and gas treatment units.
