The AWS Public Sector team in New Zealand is looking for a Solutions Architect to work with customers in central government, local government, education, and state‑owned enterprise. You will partner with government agencies and their technology partners to design, prototype, and implement cloud solutions that support improved services for New Zealanders.

This role focuses on helping our customers accelerate their cloud adoption journeys, from early workload assessments through to production‑ready architectures. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working hard to understand the customer, and helping to select and design practical cloud solutions using AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

• Design and review architectures for secure, resilient workloads operating in classified and protected environments
