Job Description
Overview
Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Python, Django, React and Next.js for a software company.
Must Have
- 6+ years as full stack developer
- Strong proficiency with React and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript
- Advanced skills with Python
- Experience with REST API
- Proficient in SQL, PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with unit testing, test-driven development, and using frameworks such as pytest, unittest, or Jest
- Willingness to spend a significant portion of onboarding and perhaps ongoing time in a team-oriented team programming settings
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud-based platform services such as Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with any version control system, e.g. Git, SVN, Mercurial
