Description
Manage and develop a world class team of wireless communication systems engineers at Amazon Leo. This is a multi-faceted team of engineers that covers a wide range of expertise such as RF systems, physical layer and DSP, MAC scheduler and Radio Resource Management layer, 3GPP protocol stack design and development, machine learning and AI. This team acts as the focal point of all innovation of new technology, design and development of Amazon Leo’s Low Earth Satellite based communication network.
This team is also responsible for participating in standards organization such as 3GPP, O-RAN, etc.
Key job responsibilities
• Hire and develop top wireless communication systems talent
• Manage the systems team responsible for developing new technology, solutions and algorithms
and requirements pertaining to L1, L2 and L3 of a wireless communication and PNT network
• Manage the development of system level and link level simulation platforms
