Job Description

The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Scheduler. This person assists in the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities with production and plant staff.

This is a full-time position based out of our Bakersfield, CA location.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm with additional hours and weekends as needed.

    Maintenance & Reliability Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement operational goals by developing and maintaining detailed maintenance schedules that align with production requirements, equipment capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
  • Own and maintain a comprehensive maintenance “master schedule” by analyzing equipment needs, preventative maintenance requirements, and plant capacity to ensure optimal asset reliability and uptime.
