Job Description
Sr. Engineer, Inspection (AMS)
Abu Dhabi, PMC project.
Job Purpose
Provide technical services, support, and advice to sites in inspection of plants, equipment, structures, and facilities to ensure their integrity and maintenance in good serviceable condition.
Responsibilities
- Inspect on a regular basis according to an established programme or as requested by the user department; initiate and prepare technical reports on various plants and equipment.
- Test and investigate plants and equipment using sophisticated testing methods employing ultrasonic flaw detectors, thickness meters, hardness testers, magnetic particle, and boroscopes to determine the cause, type, extent and rate of erosion, corrosion or wear.
- Analyze findings; recommend appropriate corrective measures or actions and follow up on implementation.
- Follow up the work of inspection service companies according to preset checklists.
