Job Description
Purpose: To design, validate and support reliable embedded electronic control hardware for HVAC products from concept through production. Responsibilities: Own the electrical design of embedded hardware for HVAC control products from concept through production. Perform feasibility studies, cost tradeoffs, design calculations, and technical risk assessments to support product concepts and design decisions. Develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for microcontroller-based control systems, including sensor interfaces, power supplies, relay/triac drivers, and communication interfaces. Create electrical schematics, select and qualify components, define PCB layout requirements, and review PCB layouts for functionality, reliability, thermal performance, and EMC performance.
