Job Description
Job Summary
The role is accountable for tactical support for production services, across one or more areas of a specific platform/domain. It ensures maximum service quality and stability by fast-response to technical incidents, identifies continual improvement opportunities, and may provide control capacity to prevent instability from new changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Fast and effective response to technical incidents and prevent future incidents.
- Continuous monitoring of system performance and creation of alerts for potential issues.
- Automation of operational tasks including deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
- Incident response, troubleshooting and post‑mortem analysis to minimise downtime and learn from failures.
- Optimise infrastructure for efficiency and reliability.
- Design and implement deployment pipelines and strategies for smooth and reliable releases.
