Description A Management Resources client is seeking a hands-on Interim Senior Accountant to support our accounting team through year-end. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining a 3-day month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting audit and tax requirements, and assisting with key accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong GAAP knowledge, public company experience, and the ability to quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute a 3-day monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Analyze financial information related to assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, and expenses in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Prepare and post journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions and account activity.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve account variances.
