Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in Caseyville, Illinois in a fully onsite capacity. This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting specialist who can strengthen core accounting operations, contribute to financial reporting, and support process enhancements in a fast-moving environment. The role offers direct collaboration with leadership and the chance to help improve the effectiveness of the finance function while managing key accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage balance sheet, bank, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Contribute to monthly and annual closing activities by preparing journal entries, reviewing account activity, and maintaining organized supporting documentation.
• Produce internal financial reports and analysis packages that help leadership evaluate performance and make informed business decisions.
