Job Summary
The SQL Server Database Developer / Data Engineer I supports the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases and data integration solutions supporting enterprise applications and Department of Defense (DoD) mission systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, this role develops database objects, assists with ETL/ELT processes, performs data validation, and contributes to database performance improvements while building expertise in enterprise data management.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SQL Server database tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and indexes
Write, troubleshoot, and optimize T-SQL queries
Support OLTP database development and normalization efforts
Assist in developing ETL/ELT processes using SSIS or comparable technologies
