Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and deploy MSSQL Server instances
- Manage database security including user accounts, roles, and permissions
- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Perform backup and restore operations
- Automate tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell scripting
- Configure and manage HA/DR solutions (Log Shipping, Mirroring, Always On AG, Clustering)
- Document database activities, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and database performance
- Stay updated with the latest MSSQL Server technologies and best practices
Required Skillset:
- Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration
- Good knowledge of Windows Administration
