Job Description
Startec Compression & Process is currently recruiting a Spooling Supervisor to work at our Shepard Shop (9423 Shepard Rd SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 4R6).
The Spooling Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all spooling operations to ensure materials are processed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role coordinates daily activities, supervises spooling personnel, enforces safety and procedural compliance, and works closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet schedule and client requirements. The supervisor also monitors equipment performance, addresses operational issues, and supports continuous improvement within the spooling area.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Certificate in a related field (i.e., Pipefitting, welding)
- 5+ years of spooling production experience, ideally in Oil & Gas fabrication of compression or process packages would be preferred.
