Profile Summary
This role is an Analyst position in the Sponsor Coverage & Leveraged Finance Department EMEA (SCLF) of Mizuho International plc., based in London. SCLF is responsible for the origination and execution of leveraged finance transactions, participation in selected leveraging transactions arranged by other institutions during syndication, support of asset management/portfolio management of Mizuho Bank and its managed account platform Stratum, and execution of infrastructure transactions pursued by sponsor clients. The Origination Team covers private equity and institutional clients in Europe, leading arrange and execute leveraged finance transactions while pursuing an originate-to-distribute strategy, supplemented with institutional hold capacity and access to net take capacity of managed accounts. The team is structured into two verticals, each responsible for specific geographical markets and dedicated sponsors.
