Job Description
Elevate student communication at School District No. 42 as a Speech Language Pathologist. This part-time role will engage you in supporting students' diverse communication needs in educational settings.
The district is hiring for a 0.4 FTE Speech Language Pathologist to join the Learning Services Team effective September 1, 2026. You'll assess communication challenges and implement tailored interventions while collaborating with school teams and families. Your work will particularly support those with autism and other communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Assess student communication needs and provide interventions
β’ Work with teams to develop support strategies
β’ Implement AAC systems for effective communication
β’ Guide staff and families on communication techniques
β’ Foster collaborative relationships in multidisciplinary contexts
