Job Description

Responsibilities

:

Speech Language Pathologist will:
  • Perform observations/evaluations
  • Provide therapy, creating training material, attending meetings, collecting data, recording attendance, completing therapy notes, and providing interventions to other staff as needed
  • Conduct student evaluations for speech therapy in accordance with school procedures and timelines
  • Provide Speech therapy through individual, small group, in-class and community models as directed by students’ IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide services to students based on IEP goals, objectives and time indicators
  • Maintain a daily log of services and hours worked as well as appropriate student files
  • Document services provided using district mandated system
  • Prepare Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Accommodation Plans (IAPs) for students and participate in IEP/504 meetings
