Summary of Duties

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has an opportunity for a Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive swallowing and communication services to patients in General Medicine. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with patients, families and interprofessional team members to provide evidence‑informed best practice

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Assess, plan, implement and monitor swallowing and communication impairment interventions
• Maintain patient records and workload measurement in accordance with facility and professional standards
• Act as an SLP resource to the SLP team, the interprofessional team, families and students
• Maintain and upgrade skills and knowledge through continuing education and seek opportunities for knowledge dissemination
