Specimen Processing Technician
Contract Opportunity | 3–6+ Months | Potential for Permanent Hire
Looking for a fast-paced role where accuracy matters? Join a laboratory operations team supporting clinical testing by processing and preparing specimens for analysis.
What You'll Do
+ Receive, verify, and process clinical specimens
+ Prepare samples for testing (centrifuging, serum separation, staging, etc.)
+ Review specimen information to ensure accuracy and completeness
+ Perform data entry and maintain records as needed
+ Label, scan, sort, and route specimens to the appropriate departments
+ Handle 200–450 specimens daily while meeting quality and productivity goals
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of experience in healthcare, laboratory, specimen processing, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
