Job Description
Health & Safety Specialist
Contract role (until March 31, 2028) supporting all health and safety initiatives, programs and legislative compliance activities at Saputo Dairy Products Canada.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, office‑based during regular business hours. Flexibility is required and supported.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional lead for the department’s SharePoint site, overseeing content management, access control and the organization of safety resources.
- Act as the program lead for the WSIB Health and Safety Excellence program, partnering with and supporting Health & Safety Advisors across the Ontario region.
- Generate comprehensive safety reports and actively monitor, review and track safety compliance reports submitted by individual sites.
- Collaborate with peer groups to execute company safety policies by providing training and education to ensure employees follow OHSA/CSA standards.
