Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic HCPC‑registered Dietitian to deliver high‑quality dietetic care to adults and older adults in inpatient mental health wards and community care settings. The role involves 1:1 assessments, group work, MDT participation and student supervision. The post is based at the Laura Mitchell Health and Wellbeing Centre, Halifax, and is flexible and part‑time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dietetic assessment and care planning for patients admitted to mental health wards and a rehabilitation unit.
- Conduct community assessments for older people living in care homes.
- Actively engage in MDT meetings, ward rounds and care programme approach sessions.
- Supervise junior staff, dietetic students and oversee training programmes.
