Job Description
Specialist, Category Management - Chemicals
This is a 22-month temporary position.
Responsibilities
- Manage the chemicals & feedstocks category across Camecos Mining & Fuel Services divisions, as well as a portfolio of suppliers providing critical commodities.
- Develop an overarching / long-term category strategy for chemicals & feedstocks, including market intelligence research across the global chemicals industry & supplier landscape.
- Identify sourcing opportunities and execute commodity sourcing strategies for the assigned portfolio of chemicals and feedstocks.
- Lead the full source-to contract life cycle of strategic sourcing events (RFx or single source initiatives) in line with the overarching category strategy.
- Assist in supply risk management initiatives and execute risk mitigation actions.
