Specialist Autonomy Support

Role within the Autonomy Operations of Minerals Americas Copper’s Asset Autonomy Program. Reports to the Autonomy Performance team and supports the operational improvement of autonomous mining operations, providing technical assistance to key autonomy components and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Guide the operational team to deliver reliable results and meet deadlines for continuous improvement in autonomous operation and reliability of technological systems required for Autonomy.
• Generate a culture of continuous improvement and lead change initiatives.
• Generate and report on operational events, providing recommendations to resolve issues.
• Offer expert advice on operations and best practices to achieve efficient and productive performance under BHP standards, selecting appropriate alternatives.
