Enhance student success as a Special Education Assistant I. Work collaboratively with educators to provide vital support in personal care, academics, and life skills development.
In this role, you'll assist under the guidance of an administrator, classroom teacher, and learning resource teacher. Your primary focus will be on supporting students in personal care, academic assistance, life skills enhancement, behavioral regulation, and alternative communication. Your contributions will empower students to engage actively in their education and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with personal care needs
• Provide academic support tailored to individual needs
• Develop life skills and practical experiences
• Facilitate alternative communication methods
• Support behavioral regulation strategies as directed
Requirements:
• Experience in supporting special education students
• Understanding of behavioral regulation techniques
