Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Systems Engineer with strong telecommunications and billing systems experience to join their team on an initial three-month contract. This role is suited to an engineer who understands the end-to-end telco charging and billing ecosystem and can contribute beyond software development. The successful candidate will possess strong engineering and systems-thinking capabilities, enabling them to design, optimise, and enhance complex billing solutions while ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with telecom billing environments, including charging platforms, CDR processing, transaction reconciliation, event-driven architectures, and high-volume transactional systems.
